We’re hiring
Account Executive — Medical Practice Growth
$40,000 base + uncapped commission · $85,000–$95,000 on-target earnings
If you’ve sold an elective medical procedure, you already know something important about sales:
People can want something and still not buy it.
They hesitate. They compare. They disappear for two weeks. They talk to their spouse. They say they need to think about it.
And a good salesperson knows how to keep the conversation moving without becoming that person who calls six times before lunch.
That experience translates surprisingly well to what we do.
Vitality Medical Marketing Group helps elective medical practices — hair restoration, plastic surgery, aesthetics, med spas and other cash-pay specialties — turn more interest into actual patients.
We’re looking for an Account Executive to help us grow.
You might be a great fit if…
You’ve done one of these:
- Sold elective medical procedures directly to patients.
- Sold marketing, software or another service to physicians or business owners.
You do not need both.
What matters more is whether you can have a real conversation, ask good questions, follow up when everyone else gives up, and confidently ask someone to make a decision.
We can teach you our products.
Curiosity, judgment and common sense are considerably harder to teach.
What you’ll sell
We help medical practices grow.
That includes marketing, technology, patient follow-up and the systems practices use to turn inquiries into scheduled consultations and patients.
So you won’t be calling a doctor and saying:
“Would you like more leads?”
They have heard that approximately 4,000 times.
You’ll be talking about what happens after the lead arrives:
How quickly does the practice respond?
How many people never answer?
Who follows up tomorrow? Next week? Next month?
Which marketing actually produces patients?
Where is money leaking out of the practice?
Those are much better conversations.
What you’ll actually do
You’ll eventually own the sales process from first conversation through signed agreement.
That means:
- Starting conversations with practices across the country.
- Reaching physicians, owners and other decision-makers.
- Qualifying whether there is actually a fit.
- Running discovery and sales consultations.
- Following opportunities until there is a real yes or a real no.
- Keeping your pipeline clean and knowing exactly where every opportunity stands.
- Working with our team to improve the pitch, offer and sales process as we grow.
At first, you’ll sit in on our consultations and learn how we sell.
Then you’ll start taking pieces of the conversation.
Then you’ll run them yourself.
There isn’t a magical day on the calendar when we hand you the keys. You get there when you’re ready.
The person we’re hoping to find
You probably recognize yourself in most of these:
You are comfortable picking up the phone.
You don’t need someone reminding you to follow up.
You can speak with a physician or business owner without suddenly becoming a different person.
You ask questions instead of immediately launching into a pitch.
You can hear, “That call wasn’t very good,” without spending the afternoon defending why it actually was.
You’re competitive, but not obnoxious about it.
You like learning how things work.
And when something obviously doesn’t make sense, you say so.
Common sense matters here. A lot.
What makes this sales job different
Your territory is essentially the country.
Your commission is uncapped.
We don’t want you winning deals by being the cheapest option.
We build our own technology and use it ourselves, which means much of the research, follow-up and administrative work surrounding sales can be automated.
That leaves more of your day for the thing that actually produces revenue:
Talking to people.
You’ll also learn an industry where a single new patient can be worth thousands — or tens of thousands — of dollars to a practice.
That makes the conversation very different from selling another $49-a-month business tool.
Compensation
Compensation
We’ll show you exactly how the commission plan works during the interview process. No mystery math.
Base salary
$40,000
On-target total compensation
$85,000–$95,000
Commission: Uncapped
And $95,000 is not a ceiling.
Location & schedule
This is a full-time position based in our Lindenhurst, New York office.
We want you in the room while you’re learning the business and learning to sell it.
Once you’re independently running consultations and performing consistently, work-from-home days become available.
Benefits
We’d rather tell you exactly what exists than make you discover it during onboarding.
- Retirement plan
- Paid time off
- Paid training and professional development
- Opportunities to travel with the team to industry conferences
- Flexible work-from-home days once established in the role
- A genuinely family-first environment
- Flexible spending benefits planned for 2027
We do not currently offer employer-sponsored health insurance.
If employer health coverage is something you need right now, we want you to know that before you invest time interviewing with us.
How to apply
Please don’t write us a cover letter.
Seriously.
Instead, tell us about one deal you should not have won.
The person wasn’t buying.
Something happened.
You changed the conversation.
And they bought.
Tell us what happened and, if you remember them, the actual words you used.
A few paragraphs is plenty.
Numbers make the story even better.
We read every response.
Five minutes. No portal, no account to create.
One last thing
Résumés are useful. They are not particularly good at showing us whether someone will succeed here.
Career change? Fine.
Unusual background? Interesting.
Didn’t spend the last ten years methodically climbing LinkedIn’s approved corporate ladder? Neither did most of us.
Vitality Medical Marketing Group is an equal opportunity employer. We consider qualified applicants without regard to any characteristic protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
